Justin Johnson and Sophie Stevens secure a community order for a youth who passed a significant age threshold during the currency of proceedings in relation to several charges of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Justin Johnson and Sophie Stevens represented a youth who passed a significant age threshold during the currency of proceedings in relation to several charges of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

This case involved multiple disclosure failings that, following the review of significant phone download material, led to the client being convicted as an adult.

Sophie Stevens represented the client for sentence. The court sided with the defence’s position on committal and categorisation, and ultimately passed a community order.

Justin and Sophie were instructed by Trevor Hamlyn of Wells Burcombe.
