Max Hardy prosecutes a Vietnamese national who held a woman captive in a flat, raped her and seriously assaulted her over a number of days. Eventually she escaped by jumping from an upper floor window. He was convicted by a jury after trial at Inner London Crown Court and sentenced to 17 years' imprisonment with an extended licence period of 4 years.
