Max Hardy secures life sentence for convicted rapist


The convicted rapist prosecuted by Max Hardy at the Central Criminal Court received a life sentence for attempted rape and s18 GBH committed following his release.

The defendant was challenged by a passer-by in the course of the assault. Upon attendance of the police the defendant was arrested while attempting to rape the victim.

He pleaded guilty promptly to that offence and upon receipt of a consultant forensic pathologist's report authored by Dr Fegan-Earl the defendant pleaded guilty to causing s18 GBH to the victim as well.
