Stefan Hyman, part of 9BR Chambers’ Extradition & Interpol Team, published an article on Crimeline about the case of Turner [2024] EWHC 3294 (Admin) in which a Divisional Court heavily criticised two barristers and a solicitor. Reflecting on the “Hamid jurisdiction”, he comments that one case was an orthodox application of “Hamid” whilst the other was particularly harsh.
